Cyber Security Valley UK ( CSV UK/Cyber Valley ) is the Midlands, South West, Wales area of the UK. Covered by 2 economic regions – Midlands Engine and Western Powerhouse.
A triangle of motorways – M5, M50 and the M4 are also involved.
At the centre is the Government Communications HQ and the National Cyber Security Centre ( in Cheltenham ).
Some 25 Universities, who teach Cyber Security and related subjects are in the Valley.
There are a number of major Cyber Park Developments including – Golden Valley ( Cheltenham ), Skylon Park ( Hereford ), Berkeley Green ( Gloucester ) and Tramshed Stadium ( Cardiff ).
The objective is to promote the area nationally and globally. Typically people outside of the UK thinking of opening a UK or European business operation consider Ireland, London and Holland and not much else even though Cyber Valley has GCHQ/NCSC and many Cyber related parks, hubs and companies.
There is a huge demand for Cyber Security talent in the area.
