Cyber Security Valley UK is working with its technology group to help bring high speed broadband to Cyber Security companies in the ecosystem.
Timing is everything and we are in the time of companies abandoning big city Headquarters and opting for flexible working from home and short commutes to regional hubs.
We have many stories eg the banking director who said, “I used to have a Headquarters Building, a regional HQ and 500 branches .. now I have 6,500 micro branches”.
We have made great strides in rural broadband since my time in the 90’s and 2000’s with Fibernet and Voyager building national fibre networks and providing managed network services – and a good job too – how else would we have worked through the Pandemic without missing a beat ?
Although our primary focus is mapping and detailing the Cyber Security Ecosystem in Cyber Security Valley ( Midlands, Wales and South West ) and supporting those who are Cyber Protecting others it became clear that we also needed to help our clients get high speed broadband wherever they are.
In doing that we need a forward thinking, innovative, well funded fibre infrastructure provider that we can work closely with.
Many infrastructure providers say they are different but actually they are the same as the old, major players.
its is different and we saw that from the start. Doing business with them is easy and we can add IT services and cyber security services to their network for a complete package.
They happen to be already involved in providing fibre infrastructure to Cyber Parks in the Valley e.g. Skylon Park and also have built innovative village networks near Cheltenham.
